Star Anise 20 gram

Star anise is aptly named for the star-shaped pods from which the spice seeds are harvested and has a flavor that is reminiscent of licorice. It can be used in the Egmont's Garden Gin, but don't overdo (1 piece should be enough), because the smell and taste quickly dominate other smells and flavors! If you like anise drinks, you can of course also use the star anise in the other Egmont's Garden Gins (The Orchard and Pink Pasture).
